About the Church
St John the Baptist church is a picturesque 13th century church in the heart of this semi rural village. We are looking forward to welcoming you to join us for one of our weekly services, if you like traditional morning services or informal family services we have them both. No matter who you are or what you believe you are welcome here.
The church is also used for our fortnightly ‘Chatterbox’ group which meet for coffee, chat and friendship. Knit and chat gives our local ‘stitchers’ a chance to meet together to get creative and form new friendships as well as strengthening existing ones.
St John the Baptist church also has access to The Chapel at Killerton Estate in Broadclyst, which can be used to host wedding services. For any questions around this, please just get in touch using our contact form.
Little Angels
Little Angels Toddler Group welcomes all with little ones to care for. We meet in the centre of Broadclyst but are joined but young families from further afield – Westclyst and the rural area. We are a friendly group, providing: refreshments for adults all morning; a combination of free play, dancing, story time for all, craft activities and a break for the young ones with healthy snacks. It is a welcoming group giving new mothers or parents new to the area a chance to meet up with others and make new friends.
